The cost of his service was very reasonable in comparison to other landscape designers, and he even offered to do stamping of my concrete (no color) at the same cost of doing the standard broom/salt finish. After signing the contract, he and his crew came as scheduled to start the work and was always on time until the project was finished (Including his dog Masa!) He was very patient with me, as I had changes to what I wanted done, and when he encountered some issues with the existing design (done by the home builder), he notified me and showed me the issues and told me what he was going to do to work around it. David, the owner, came out as scheduled to go over the design layout and gave me the estimate for my project. I just had my backyard patio, backyard sprinkler and drip system, and sod boarder done by Solscape at my house in Rocklin and I have to say that I am extremely happy with their work. I would NEVER recommend Solscape, and am shocked that a company would treat a prospective client in such a manner. Granted, my backyard landscaping project was not in the high $$$ range, but if you don’t want my business just say so, don’t blow me off. after not hearing back in a week, I sent another email. I responded to his email indicating my availability and then waited for his response. I followed up with an email to which David responded indicating the first step was for us to get together and sign a contract.
After one company flaked and the other company left me unimpressed I called and left a message for David about wanting to go ahead with Solscape for my backyard landscaping.
I told him he was the first company of three that I was meeting with, but if I decided to go with him I would call him. When I originally met with David about the design ideas I had for my backyard, I was impressed that he ‘got it’ and he even drew up a quick sketch to make sure we were on the same page.
